Oklahoma City’s four power-play goals snapped the Lake Erie Monsters' (4-2-0-0) three-game win streak, as the Barons (3-2-0-0) took a 4-3 decision at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City Tuesday night.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his first two AHL goals, including the game-winning goal with 14:15 left in the third period, and added an assist. Jordan Eberle had a goal and two assists, Teemu Hartikainen recorded a goal and an assist and Justin Schultz tallied three helpers.
Bryan Lerg scored twice for the Monsters, giving him three goals in his last two games. The game was the last of a four-game road trip for Lake Erie.
