Danny Syvret is not one for statistics, but the veteran defensemanís offensive output over the past two American Hockey League seasons has placed him in some pretty exclusive company.

The 27-year old Syvret, currently in his third tour of duty with the Adirondack Phantoms, is one of only five defensemen who can say they have scored at least 40 points in each of the past two AHL seasons.

Syvret appears on that list with four fellow former AHL All-Stars: Nathan Oystrick, Paul Postma, Brian Connelly and Clay Wilson. All five have established themselves as elite AHL defensemen who can play critical minutes on a teamís blue line, run a power play unit and lead by example in the locker room.
