Itís probably best not to draw any conclusions about the Hershey Bears after first five games. The Bears have only earned 3 of a potential 10 points in the opening two weeks of the season.
Friday night they lost again on the road, 3-1 to the Connecticut Whale.

The Whale jumped out to a 2-0 lead on two goals, two minutes apart. Both times the Whale found passing lanes to the side of the Bears net. Brandon Segal scored less than four and a half minutes into the first period. Tommy Grant charged the net two minutes later to give the Whale a 2-0 advantage.
