Over the last few games, after starting the season 0-4, the WBS Penguins have found a formula thatís working for them: Get great penalty killing and goaltending to stay close early in games, thus buying time for the offense to find its stride.

On Sunday, Paul Thompson was the chief strider, scoring a natural hat trick in the second period to lead the Penguins to a 5-3 win over Bridgeport.

Jeff Zatkoff made 37 saves and has looked especially sharp this weekend. The penalty kill was 3 for 3, running its streak of successful kills to 28.
