If there is any positive that can be taken from an NHL lockout, itís that hockey fans start to pay more attention to other leagues. It seems like every time something crazy happens, like the most bizarre goal youíve ever seen, a highlight reel save you swear was doctored, or an insane brawl that would make even the Hanson brothers jealous, it goes down in places like the KHL, AHL, or ECHL.

If you havenít seen this one yet you are in for a treat. This past Thursday the Toronto Marlies gave up two goals to the Abbotsford Heat in an improbable three seconds. Not only that, but the two Abbotsford goals came shorthanded. The Heatís Steve McCarthy danced in and slipped one past Marlies goalie Ben Scrivens to break a scoreless tie in the third period. Then, off the ensuing face-off at center ice, Ben Street shot the puck right off the draw into the air and it fell past Scrivens. The goal was so fast that it even avoided being captured on video because of a replay being shown of the previous tally. The previous AHL record for fastest two goals was five seconds.
