Bobby Ryan originally took a strong stance in his reasoning why he opted not to play overseas during the NHL lockout while other players flocked across the water.

But as labor discord has dragged the work stoppage into its 67th day, it appears that the Ducks’ goal-scoring winger has had a change of heart.

Ryan signed a lockout deal Wednesday with Mora IK of Sweden’s Allsvenskan, the country’s second-highest professional league. The club first reported the news on its website and his agent, Mark Guy, confirmed the signing to the Register.
