Connor Crisp scored his first OHL hat trick to the lead the Erie Otters to their first win in St. Catharines in three years, as they defeated the Niagara IceDogs, 4-2, Thursday night.
Shayne Rover put the IceDogs on the board first as he blasted a shot from the left point through a screen at 11:27.
Crisp tied the game for the Otters at 12:45 as he led a two-on-one with J.P. Labardo and put in his own rebound for his 10th goal of the season. The Otters and IceDogs each had 12 shots in the first period.
