As the longest tenured head coach in the National Hockey League, Lindy Ruff has had his fair share of good and bad times while leading the way for the Buffalo Sabres.

While at the helm, Ruff has led Buffalo to four appearances in the Eastern Conference Finals while guiding the Sabres to a Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 1998-99.

But despite all of the good times Ruff has experienced in Buffalo, heís also seen some of the worst days in Sabres history, watching his quad miss the playoffs three consecutive seasons for the first time in franchise history during the teamís bankruptcy years.
