Former Columbus Blue Jackets forward Alexandre Giroux has left Dinamo Riga on mutual consent, the KHL team announced Thursday.

Giroux signed a two-year contract with the Latvians in May, but they have parted ways with Dinamo out of the running for a playoffs spot, languishing at the bottom of the Western Conference.
