Interim coach Vyacheslav Butsaev was given the permanent job at KHL team CSKA Moscow on Saturday after the team's successful start to the playoffs.

The former Philadelphia Flyers forward was employed as a stop-gap coach in mid-December after the club fired Valery Bragin.
Since then, Butsaev has guided the team to 13 wins of 19 remaining games in the regular season to finish second in the Western Conference, and got the team off to a perfect start in the conference quarterfinals with two wins in the opening two games against Lev Prague.
