While the Syracuse Crunch heads off for Toronto on Tuesday morning, goalie Cedrick Desjardins will veer off in a different direction.

Desjardins has been recalled to Tampa Bay to replace injured netminder Mathieu Garon. Garon was hurt in Monday's loss to Pittsburgh.

Desjardins is 4-2, 1.85, .928 for the Crunch this season. He has played two games in the NHL, both with Tampa Bay in 2010-11.
