Calgary Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff appears to be off the market.

The 36-year-old Finnish netminder had been central to trade
speculation, especially surrounding the possibility of a move to the
Toronto Maple Leafs. However, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren
Dreger, sources indicate that Kiprusoff will stay in Calgary for the
duration of 2012-13 and retire at the end of the season.

Although he does not currently possess a no-trade or no-movement
clause in his contract, Kiprusoff was believed to be hesitant to leave
the Flames, due to the recent birth of his second child.
