Ben Lovejoy became a fan favorite of sorts in Pittsburgh and still carries warm feelings for his years spent in the Penguins' organization.

But the best move for his career was when the Penguins dealt him away.

Since Ducks general manager Bob Murray acquired the defenseman for a 2014 fifth-round draft pick on Feb. 6, Lovejoy has managed to work himself into a semi-permanent spot on the blue line due to his solid all-around play.
