The Winnipeg Jets dressing room has been cleared out and for the most part, players have gone their separate ways, some of them never to return inside the hallowed halls.

The Jets managed to a step forward during a 48-game lockout season but the realization that a slight improvement wasn't good enough to get them where they ultimately want to be.

"We made strides this year but fell short. There's a lot of negatives that come from that," said Jets winger Chris Thorburn, one of several players on the Jets roster who have never had a taste of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
