After 496 professional regular season games played in North America, Ryan Potulny will leave the continent and continue his hockey career in Russia.
Thursday afternoon, it was announced Potulny signed with the Avangard Omsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. He leaves the Hershey Bears after two seasons, totaling 106 points in 127 games. His regular season point production dropped from 65 to 41 between the 2011-12 and 2012-13 campaigns. The veteran Potulny carries 126 games on National Hockey League experience over seas.
