St. Louis Blues forward Alexander Steen scored again Friday, but after the game he was more interested in talking about his goalie.

Steen scored his NHL-leading 12th as part of a three-goal second period, Brian Elliott made 31 saves for his 22nd career shutout, and the Blues defeated the Florida Panthers 4-0 at BB&T Center.

Steen, who was the third NHL player in 20 years with 11 goals in his first 10 games of a season, extended his career-best goal streak to six games, the longest in the League. Steen was tied with San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau, who had a five-game streak from Oct. 10-19.
