Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Dave Nonis announced Thursday that the team has signed Colton Orr to a new two-year NHL contract.

Orr, 31, joined the Maple Leafs as a free agent on July 1, 2009. He played in 44 of 48 regular season games for Toronto this past season and collected four points (1 goal, 3 assists) while leading the NHL in penalty minutes with 155. Orr was ‘even or plus’ in 41 of his 44 appearances in 2012-13 and he played in all seven of the team’s playoff games against the Bruins in May
